If you are experiencing specific eye health issues or have a known eye condition, it is best to go to an ophthalmologist. Ophthalmologists are medical doctors who specialize in eye and vision care, and they can diagnose and treat a wide range of eye conditions, including performing surgery if necessary. This may involve providing a note from the optometrist or parent/guardian, and notifying the school in advance of the appointment. It is always best to communicate with the school and make arrangements for the missed class time. **
